Carmen Seantel: When You Spot The Next Big Audiobook Narrator A Mile Away

Carmen Seantel flew into the audiobook world on the back of a unicorn. That's how it felt when the Anna Ats Deadline Awards Team saw a narrator with just around ten books, and yet such a deep sense of place and belonging. She had built community among narrators and authors, she had started to connect with professionals across the industry, and she had blown us out of the water with her impressive early performances, including those from her audiobook narrator pseudonym Audrey Obeyn. It helped that when it came time to review submissions, so many people had reached out to describe how impactful she had already been in the industry. We're honored to call her the inaugural winner of the Anna Ats Deadline Pathfinder Award.
